The 2026 Symposium for Metabolic Health brings together clinicians, researchers, patients, and health-focused individuals to explore evidence-based approaches to metabolic health and chronic disease. It is an SMHP event, hosted by LowCarbUSA. Sessions examine the metabolic drivers behind conditions such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and neurological and mental health disorders, including insulin resistance and inflammation. A special focus day, The Metabolic Roots of Obesity and Type 2 Diabetes, digs into the underlying drivers of these conditions, including insulin resistance, hormonal regulation, inflammation, and energy balance. Some sessions will also look at the role of GLP-1 based therapies, how they work, why results can vary, and how they fit into a broader metabolic health approach. Dates: August 13 to 16, 2026 Location: Wyndham San Diego Bayside Hotel, San Diego, CA Attend in person or by livestream In-person: $499 | Livestream: $99
